OBITUARY: Charles Floyd Parkinson, age 84, died Friday, 19 Feb 1993 at his
residence. He was born 27 Jan 1909 in Lewiston, UT to William Brigham and
Evans Beth Troop Parkinson. He married Eva Melvina Thornley 12 Sep 1931 in
Farmington, UT. Mr. Parkinson lived in Lewiston and Smithfield, UT most of
his life where he worked as a barber. He retired to the St. George area
where he has lived for many years. He enjoyed horses and golfing and was
a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include: his wife of Santa Clara; two
sons and three daughters: Dr. Clayton Floyd (Sharon) Parkinson of Ogden;
Sharron (David) Monk of Henderson, NV; Trena (Robert) Woods of Reno, NV;
Nathan William Parkinson of Salt Lake City; Domani (Guy) Jardine of
Farmington, UT; 11 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; one brother and
two sisters: Lila Johnstone of San Leandro, CA; Peggy Benson of Auburn,
CA and Paul Parkinson of Bellevue, ID.

Charles Floyd Parkinson and Eva Melvina Thornley were married on 12 Sep 1931 in Farmington, Davis, UT. Eva Melvina Thornley¹ was born on 16 Jul 1914 in Smithfield, Cache, UT. She died on 16 Jul 1995. SOURCE
