there with her father and kept house for him, her mother Alice Perkerson

mended, because of her sweet, charming personality. She would sit the
children on a block of wood, and while their shoes were being mended, she
would amuse them by telling stories or cutting out beautiful flowers from
seed catalogues. Janette was active in the church and especially loved to
work with the young people of the MIA. After her fathers death she married
John Bennett and moved to Uinta County; Phebe Smith.
